My flat is situated near Altufyevo metro station, formally it is in North-East of Moscow but if you have a look at Moscow Metro Map you'll find the station at the very top of the grey line, in the North. In the map it looks to be pretty far from the centre of the city, but if you are going to use metro to travel around Moscow it will take you 20-25 minutes by metro to get to the very centre, besides there are some advantages in living near the top stations - the ability to get a seat in the mornings when metro trains are full of people, besides, the district is one of the ecologically cleanest in Moscow and here we have a nice park in 15 minutes walking distance from my place with a great sport complex, swimming pool and tennis courts! ) The prospective rental payment for the whole flat is 1600$ (40.000 roubles) per month.
